Transplantation of the ovary in women with premature ovarian failure !!!!!!!?
I watched a show the other days on the Discovery Channel and was surprised. After several attempts with donor eggs and IVF, doctors performed a transplant of ovarian sister twins. After three months, the transplant patient became pregnant for the first time! Is not science wonderful! Did you know that you can remove own ovaries, if you must go through chemotherapy and radiation? Thus, after treatment for cancer, doctors can transplant ovaries after although you can still get pregnant. Here is the link to the story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17130058/ I wish all of you with ovarian failure premature (failure POF) and early menopause Good luck!
Interesting possibility. I wonder if my body just do not attack Ovarian very well … even if it is an operation I am sure that the insurance does not cover much. Thank you for sharing … but always look at the facts and the possibilities of POF.
