Digital Ovulation Monitor
Got a clearblue monitor question?? help!!?
Hi its the 1st time im using the Fertility monitor im currently on day 12 of my cycle and the monitor is reading as high at the moment but my digital ovulation test has shown a smiley face to say the lh surge is there?? so why is my monitor not showing peak?? im soo cOnfused does anyone else know??
I presume you did the test for the Fertility Monitor when you got up in the morning and it read it as ‘High’. If you then did the digital ovulation test later in the same day and it showed it had detected the LH surge then you may find that when you do the test the next morning for the Fertility Monitor it will be PEAK then. Does this make sense? In other words you can get the ‘high’ reading on the fertility monitor and then later that day pick up the LH surge with the ovulation test. This happened to me. I normally have 3 days of ‘high’ fertility and then 2 days of ‘peak’. However, on the third day of ‘high’ fertility I did a separate digital ovulation test later that day and it showed the LH surge was under way. THe next morning, the fertility monitor then went onto Peak.
If you are testing once a day as you do with the Fertility Monitor it will not pick up the LH surge until the morning that you do the test, so in effect it could have come on the previous afternoon.
Hope this helps!
