Insurance Rider for infertility and IVF?
I live in Louisiana and insurance through sight, which does not cover infertility problems. I heard of supplementary insurance can be purchased to cover infertility treatments, including IVF. Does anyone have information what kind of specific policies cover these procedures? I am curious to know infertility coverage mandatory in some states. I thought Louisiana was one of those states, but I find no information about it. Does anyone have more information? Any help is appreciated! OK, I researched further and find an insurance policy Additional Aetna. What it does is offer a discount rate does not rule out any medical procedures and fertility. More Specifically you are paying for 60% of IVF. Although it does not cover everything, it's a great help! Has anyone heard of IR such plan has some experience with Aetna?
In fact, Louisiana is one of 15 states require insurance companies to cover the minimum. His company would be exempt whether religious, with headquartered outside the state that does not require coverage or less than 25 employees. Unfortunately, the word is small – which requires not cover in vitro fertilization, intrauterine insemination infertility drugs or cons. It only requires screening and treatment to "correct medical conditions."
